DoubleTree by Hilton Islantilla Beach Golf Resort

Very nice hotel near the golf. The district around the hotel is respectable and beautiful, and the hotel’s area is very nice. You can use inside and outside pools, bar, cafe and restaurant. Breakfast and breakfast area are good. There are a lot of people (mostly elderly people), but there are a lot of tables and nice terrace. Room is good, is not new, but you have everything, with super beds, big bathroom and nice balcony with table and beautiful view. It is necessary to improve the parking system, which forces you to leave the car outside, check-in and only then drive into the territory. There were also problems with the departure from underground parking. There is no one and do not immediately understand that you need to press the button away from the exit. Everything else was great. We relaxed in green paradise with good rate. We will be back!

Booked a twin room for 5 nights with points, and as hhonors diamond member got upgraded to a family king deluxe room Room seemed recently renovated and was very spacious. Bath/shower combo, spacious terrace. We were welcomed with a local pastry and a bottle of local orange wine. Excellent start👌 We did miss an espresso machine in the room and complimentary daily water (hhonors perk). There was some noise from adjacent rooms/hallway/the bar, the walls seem quite thin but we slept well as it's not a party crowd. On Thursdays there's live music in Nuba bar from 10pm to 10:45, which was very hearable from our room but we enjoyed it anyway. We travelled with our 6 months old, a beautiful baby bed was provided after we checked in, with some extra toys which was very thoughtful. 👌 We had a lunch in the hotel's golf club with nice views, very tasty food. The local snacks in bar Nuba are also a win. We did the evening buffet twice, lots of choice but don't go too late as some popular items run out and aren't refilled. Plenty of choice in the morning buffet as well. I've had a lot worse in other doubletrees. 👌 There's a small supermarket very close by the hotel. The beach (with some local shops and restaurants) is a bit of a walk but definitely doable. Reception has a map with a park which follows the coastline which you can hike.👌 Parking was free as a diamond member, and had the option to park inside, good to keep the heat out of the car. The indoor (salt) pool was excellent to avoid sunburns, and was nicely heated to 30°C. Outdoor pool we didn't go in as it was quite cold (19.5°C) but plenty of space to lounge, both in the sun and shade. The wellness was also great (sauna, steam room, hot bath, bubble bath and cold bath). Indoor pool has 3 different awesome massaging jets. The gym was high tech and well equipped for such a small gym. (Elliptical, rowing, 2xthreadmill, weights etc). We had a couples massage in the hotel spa (50min for 120 euro), the masseuse was absolutely wonderful. Highly recommended! All staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful stay. Many thanks!

Rooms are very comfortable. Hotel stuff is always kind and friendly. Indoor and outdoor pool is very nice. You can enjoy your all day there. Hotel parking area is very small. You need to reserve if you want to park at the hotel. It is daily 14€. In my case, parking lot was all booked. So you need to find somewhere outside. Use your imagination and park any available area near the road, evweywhere is free. Dinner, open-buffet is very good. 32€/person. We also tried golf. If you are a beginner, you can take 1 hour lesson for 69€/ 2 person. 5 star activity. Air conditioning works very good. Room is always cool. Beach train is fun. Try it.
