DoubleTree by Hilton Kunming Airport

Next to airport, very convenient, also no flight noise. Rooms were clean. People mention blood stains on the shower floor, it is in fact just from extreme cleaning agent dyeing the stone. Miss Zhang gave us extra cookies, and they have a local specialty that tasted delicious. However, the cookies are quite hard, which some people like, but not for me. Still 5 stars, taste is subjective. PRICE is good value for a Hilton.

I stayed twice at this DoubleTree hotel when I travelled through the Kunming Changshui Airport. I travel a lot, and this place is one of the best places I've ever stayed! The hotel rooms were so spacious, clean, and well-equipped. Hotel staff, such as Miss Zhang and the young men at the lobby, were super friendly. They sent timely reminders on the airport shuttle and helped me mail my stuff back home. Equally important was food there. Now I still miss the rice noodles and snacks I had for breakfast. I also loved the flower cake I received when I checked in. I'll definitely stay there again if I'll travel to Kunming.

Excellent hotel near the Kunming Airport for transiting between destinations around Yunnan and China generally. The service quality from the counter staff to the bell boy was impeccable. The rooms are new and extremely clean. There is also a complimentary shuttle service to the airport starting from 5am. If you are hungry, there is also a plethora of food options around, including a really good mushroom hotpot restaurant nearby. I highly recommend DoubleTree by Hilton Kunming Airport, one of the best airport hotels I’ve had the pleasure of staying in.
