DoubleTree by Hilton Kyoto Higashiyama

We loved our stay so much that we extended it an extra night. The hotel is conveniently located right across the street from the train station and a 15/20 minute walk to the heart of Kyoto. The front desk staff were absolutely amazing. Joseph helped us with our transfer to the next city as well as, provided recommendations. We had breakfast at the hotel each morning with made to order omelets and some of Japan’s signature breakfast dishes. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were clean to perfection.

Our stay at Hilton Kyoto was fantastic. The staff were exceptionally kind, fast, and always eager to help—especially with our child. Whether it was small requests, mealtime flexibility, or just thoughtful gestures, they made everything smooth and stress-free. You truly feel cared for here, not just served. Highly recommended, especially for families traveling with kids.

Absolutely loved our stay here in Kyoto! The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming they really go the extra mile. The little details made such a difference, from the warm cookie at check-in to the thoughtful amenities included. I especially loved the yukata provided it was so comfortable to wear. The onsen was amazing, the bed was super comfy, and overall we were really happy with our stay. Close to train station and walkable distance to main shopping street. Highly recommend!
