A beautiful very new Hilton property. Very modern and elegant design and furnishings and had a nice rooftop bar as well. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the spa and found the treatments to be reasonably priced and the staff was excellent. The same for the front desk and restaurant staff, everyone was very lovely and helpful. Location is convenient if you have a car and there’s plenty of parking at and around the hotel. You are a little walk from the main streets in Lagoa so it’s a quiet area which is nice, it was very peaceful to sit out on the balcony and watch the clouds roll over the mountains and watching the ocean.
Fabulous receptionist who booked us in. Our room had 140° view of the ocean. Our room was spotless with lovely thick bathrobes and towels. We had twin beds which were 4ft wide each. Breakfast was a vast choice with bespoke omelettes made to order too. Evening meals in the restaurant were beautifully presented and tasted as good as they looked.
The Good: The hotel is elegant and is very new. The rooms are spacious, and the beds are extremely comfortable. Overall, the service was friendly. A big plus is the large, free parking area right in front of the hotel—no hassle finding a spot. The location is quiet, and both the outdoor pool and the rooftop terrace are beautiful places to relax. The Not-So-Good: Unfortunately, the indoor spa and pool were unavailable for the entire week of our stay due to ongoing repairs. When we inquired, staff told us it would be out of service for several more weeks. We weren’t offered any kind of gesture in return, not even a small voucher for the bar, which we found disappointing. Additionally, one afternoon the entire rooftop terrace was closed for a private birthday party, which was inconvenient. Lastly, for a five-star hotel, there were a few small things missing. I've stayed in less expensive hotels that offered more in terms of amenities and overall attention to detail.
