Doubletree By Hilton Lawrenceburg

This place is just beautiful. The room we stayed in was worth it. Refrigerator, microwave, table with 4 chairs, couch, and 2 lounge chairs. Huge bathroom with separate area for shower and toilet. The staff was so friendly. The food was amazing and well priced for what you got. The view of the Ohio River is amazing. You can walk out the hotel and walk along the river. Its was one of my favorite hotels.

The front staff seemed overwhelmed and were not friendly to me. They offered a couple in front of me cookies but did not offer me any. I asked about a fridge and microwave and they said I would have to pay extra but their system was down so I couldn't get one regardless. The room is spacious and quiet, but the bathroom was dirty and the headboard was very dusty. No coffee in the room and I assume this is because there's a Starbucks in the lobby. My hot water in the bathroom didn't work very well. For how much I paid, I expected a cleaner room and friendlier staff. However, based on the area, I know it's one of the nicer hotels to stay in. The river is pretty.

I could hear the people on both sides of me and directly across from me in my room. The location is great, the restaurant/bar was good, and the staff is friendly, but I won't stay here again. I could not take the annoyance of hearing other people talk throughout my stay.
