DoubleTree by Hilton Little Rock

We have been Hilton members for about 20 years and typically have great experiences. This Hilton was in a good location with good views. The hotel shuttle was great. The breakfast buffet was good with great staff. Would recommend eating local if you dont have a voucher. The beds and bathrooms are clean. The hotel could use some updating based on the stained carpet. The balcony would have been better if it had been cleaner. The showers did not have hot water during our stay. When I asked the front desk, they snapped we know, have a good day! Based on the dirty balcony and staff being annoyed by me asking about hot water is the reason this hotel gets 3 stars.

We were able to 'experience' 3 different rooms in the hotel. None of them had a fridge and the ice machine didn't work in several floors. Considering the heat in the location this is very bad. The rooms were OK, and the staff was helpful, if a bit lost at times. There could be more electrical plugs added to both sides of the bed.

My wife and I stayed for three nights in August. This place is old and not very well maintained. Staff was nice. The north view on the 14th floor was pretty. The room is small, AC worked well. The bed was comfy and clean. Parking was convenient under the building. The elevators quickly brought us up to 14th floor. Coffee service stops in lobby at 9:30 am, that sucks. There was no room meal service. Thee toilet paper holder fell off wall, but was repaired on the second day Hot water doesn’t seem to work in morning hours at all. The shower water temperature handle seemed like it was about to fall off. There was no mini fridge to store beverage and leftovers. Pool had cigarette butt, band-aids and bugs floating in it. The included WiFi is way slower and inconsistent than my Verizon cell service, that it was unusable. We slept soundly but would choose a different hotel in the future.
