DoubleTree by Hilton London Kingston Upon Thames

Great location to explore Kingston and only a 5minute walk from the train station. We stayed in a balcony room which had a Lovely walk in shower. The hotel has a modern welcoming feel. Staff lovely and helpful and We Enjoyed our warm cookies from reception. A very comfortable stay. Another coffee machine at breakfast would be good as we did have to spend time queuing for the machine and then waiting for it to ‘warm up’.

Attended for a wedding. There is a ramp for wheelchair/buggy access. Unfortunately, the hotel is covered with scaffolding. Parking isn't great. Pay on the street parking or £35 via hotel for the day! Timings for the wedding was tight with no room for flexibility. Staff were pleasant enough and professional....at times slow responding to requests. This hotel has an old look inside, but it is clean and well kept and still passable for such an event. The food served looked delicious and well presented but on taste....it lacked a little. Overall, it was a good experience!

Hotel only inform about renovation after booking was confirmed. Other than good location, the rest was rather disappointing. No signage outside the hotel, had to search for entrance for first timers. Room was small, no view whatsoever due to renovation. No bottled water was provided in room and had to go to front desk to enquire. No bedroom slippers provided as well. Paid about £675, definitely not worth it for the experience. *update* front desk staff was very helpful to change the room to a quieter wing minus the construction.
