DoubleTree by Hilton Madison Downtown

Service was perfect. All of the staff were so kind and the complementary cookies were bomb. Its in a great area too, walkable to the surrounding downtown. B cycle station is also nearby for bike rentals. My room specifically had a knocking sound which sounded like some pipes or utilities and they offered me to switch rooms immediately. Only positive things to say

I always enjoy a consistently comfortable stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-appointed, including the bathrooms, which are equally well-maintained. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, consistently providing excellent service. A convenient shuttle service is available to transport guests within a designated radius, including airport pick-up, which adds to the ease of travel. On-site parking is also available and very accessible. The breakfast selection is excellent, and the bar area offers a welcoming atmosphere with well-crafted drinks. And of course, the signature warm chocolate chip cookies are always a delightful touch.

Location to sites, campus, and restaurants, as well as guest support offered were great. Rooms were very nicely appointed, however air conditioning going on and off can be loud as you're trying to fall asleep...but the beds are comfy! Loved shuttle service throughout the downtown area offered. Truly, my one suggestion would be for the hotel to invest in sound-proofing the hallways and/or rooms more...you can hear everyone talking in the hallway from inside the room regardless of volume.
