DoubleTree by Hilton Madison East WI

The stay was comfortable and the food at crosswinds restaurant inside was delicious! Their presentation is on point. I highly recommend saying here. The staff is very knowledgeable about the area and is willing to help with any situation to fit your needs.

We stayed here recently for the 1st time and really enjoyed it. The room was great, everything was very clean. They have shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers in the shower and moisturizer in the bathroom. The staff were very kind and easy to work with. The restaurant was super busy the Saturday night we were there and they seemed a bit short staffed. The kitchen is on the other side of the hotel so staff was in and out a lot and sometimes customers were left alone in the restaurant for what seemed like extended periods of time. The food was good though and one person (tall, thin, dark hair, in black jeans) was doing the work of 3 people. They really went above and beyond, even though they were super busy.

Decent hotel, but very dated. Our room had a moldy, wet odor and although we were running the A/C, it still felt damp. There was only one of the 3 elevators working during our stay, so we practiced patience. It’s a good location for nearby food, shops, and a quick drive to the airport.
