An amazing experience from check in to check out. Great rooms. Friendly staff. Air-conditioned which was great as inwas there during a heat wave. Great food at the bar, the breakfast is AMAZING. My only quibble. The hot water is not as hot as it could be (I need a nice hot shower to wash that travel grime off) and the room lights are quite dim. But everything else was perfect.
Nice hotel. The fitness suite was adequate for working out. Nice restaurant onsite with a good buffet breakfast. The rooms were clean. Nothing particularly fancy, but practical and spacious. Location near Piccadilly train station is ideal.
DO NOT STAY HERE! I’ve stayed in hotels all over Manchester and this has to be the absolute worst. You’d be better under a bridge, at least you’d be able to feel the air. The management are so unhelpful and condescending on top of the slander, the lack of room service and being told you should walk to the bar with a broken ankle, they just don’t care about their guests. Th hotel’s facilities are 2nd to everywhere, including the train station. I travel for a living and this is the first time in 30 years I felt the need to contact my lawyer. Leaving the hotel early as it’s causing me so much stress to try and stay there. Lawsuit pending where I will be naming names. Will update this review with the outcome of the proceedings. In the meantime save yourself some hassle and book absolutely anywhere else.
