DoubleTree by Hilton Miami North I 95

It was the closet hotel to Hard Rock Stadium which is why we chose it but we definitely wouldn’t walk around that area solo any time or not solo at night. The rooms seem to have been redone kind of recently. And the pool too. It did the job for what we needed for 2 days. I will give a shout out to Donna and the bar in the lobby! Both were great to have pre/post concert!

I decided to stay in this hotel for 3 days. The start of everything was great. Service from Angie was absolutely amazing... The housekeeping crew did a great job as well. Absolutely no issues, until.... We decided to go for a swim. Some locals jump the gate like this is completely normal for them. At least 7 kids, no biggie, until they starting disrupting my vacation.. In which I had them removed. But this one thing is major. That's a major security risk to guest and possibly restaurant visitors. Definitely need more security..

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The description listed on their website is far from what you experience. The first room we were give was filthy. The headboards on the bed look like they had never been wiped down. It was a white leather that was brown, gross. Black stains on the comforters, ac barely worked, just nasty. When we told the manager about the room she asked if we would try another room and we agreed. We walked in the room and it looked some what better. We walked into the bathroom and I swear the bottom of the tub was black. I had it at this point and the manger sent the house keeping supervisor up who agreed the room was dirty and we could get our room back. Not only the cleanliness but the safety of the building. There are homeless all around the outside of the gate and they tell you the gate locks at 9pm for your safety. I'd stay far away from this hotel.
