DoubleTree by Hilton New York Times Square West

My stay here was excellent! The room upgrade to the top floor with an amazing city view was the icing on the cake. The hotel lobby was the busiest I’ve EVER seen in all my travels. The staff deftly and quickly took care of everyone and our needs. Mia F. is amazing!!!🤩 Her customer service was beyond wonderful. The hotel is conveniently located across the street from Port Authority so no taxi ride is needed if you take the bus or the train. I highly recommend this hotel!😍

Personally, the only thing that's missing at this hotel is the air conditioning. I hope they fix it. Don't overlook this problem. If the room isn't in optimal condition, don't offer it. The elevator is too small for the flow of people. People get frustrated waiting for it. Otherwise, they treated us wonderfully; they were very kind and listened to and resolved our complaints. The rooms are clean, as is the breakfast, the views, etc.

The location and the views from higher floors are the best things about this hotel. Location near times square and Broadway shows. Not far to bus or subway. Across from the Port authority bus terminal. Check in time is 3:00, but our room was still not ready when we got there at 5:00. If you don't have your do not disturb sign out, expect housekeeping to knock as early as 8:00am. Elevators are slow. Rooms are a little small, even by New York standards. I had a much better experience at double tree across river in Jersey a few years back. Rooftop bar and restaurant....Food is good and view is amazing at rooftop restaurant, but recommend skipping drinks because they are way overpriced.
