Love this hotel!! Super friendly front desk staff and parking attendants. My room was very clean, great water pressure and bed slept soooo good! I love all the extra security and you don’t have to use your room key if you have the Hilton app. It unlocks your room door and the elevators. I will be back when my work brings me to the area.

We booked a room for four people, which included a king bed and a sofa bed. Upon arrival, we were disappointed to find that the sofa bed hadn’t been prepared. While that in itself might have been understandable, the room didn’t even have extra sheets, blankets, or pillows available for us to make it up ourselves. We had to call the front desk and wait quite a while for someone to bring the linens — not ideal, especially after arriving late and just wanting to get settled in. When opened the sofa bed it had nasty stains - shown in pic. Later, we noticed the room only had towels for two guests, so we had to make another call and wait again for additional towels. These oversights made the check-in experience more frustrating than it should have been. The room itself felt somewhat dated in terms of decor, but to be fair, everything worked as expected and it was clean. The breakfast buffet in the morning was decent, with a reasonable variety of options — nothing extraordinary, but enough to start the day off right. One definite plus was the location. The hotel is conveniently situated just across the street from the Newark train station, which made it very easy to get around without needing a car. Overall, while the stay wasn’t terrible, the lack of preparation for a party of four was inconvenient and detracted from the experience. A little more attention to detail would have made a big difference.

This is a serviceable hotel if you want quick access to Penn Station. However, the hotel is unorganized and lacking a lot of attention to detail. All of these issues aren’t life altering, but would recommend staying elsewhere if you can. Few of the issues encountered: - Room wasn’t cleaned during the trip. - Were provided one towel when we checked in. - Elevators aren’t consistently functional. - All toiletries were empty upon check in, called to ask for extras and they left them at our door instead of installing. Shower toiletries are locked so they couldn’t be placed in the shower. - Cleanliness could use work. Staff was pretty nice, but eh, would avoid.
