DoubleTree by Hilton Okinawa Chatan Resort

Very nice hotel. The staff are so courteous and professional that it makes me reflect on American customer service and what we could do to improve. The whole hotel is immaculately clean and well kept. Depending on the time of year and demand it can be very expensive, but the quality and location make it worth it. I'll definitely return to this hotel whenever I can.

This hotel is in the heart of American Village, close to all restaurants and off the coast of the East China Sea. The rooms and hotel itself are very clean; the staff is attentive, and they have a wonderful pool on the grounds. You also have access to the Hilton next door - with a great pool, and great restaurant. Don't forget to visit the roof top bar at the Doubletree. First class.

Rooms were nice. We had a room with a terrace facing the ocean. Loved it! Had early morning coffee on the terrace each day and it is a perfect location for watching the Saturday night fireworks. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean. The breakfast was wonderful, several options and not just breakfast food. The location was within walking distance of touristy American Village, which eneded up being okay and convenient. I enjoyed the pool. They have a kiddy pool and another pool for the older people. We were there in July and the pool was not crowded at all. I would definitely stay here again.
