DoubleTree by Hilton Omaha Southwest

All good stuff. However, I was NOT aware that the breakfast buffet, free at most motels, had a very large charge. To be exact $18.00 each for breakfast. I think a very serious ripoff. Check out my photo of the buffet price list.

I booked this property after looking at Expedia reviews but before I looked at Google reviews. After reading them on Google, I was a bit freaked out to stay here. Overall, I feel like they are on the right track. My guess is Hilton bought and is renovating an older hotel. The lobby was gorgeous and the staff friendly. The pool itself was just fine but there were a lot of dirty towels just laying on the floor. Our room appeared to have been updated but parts of it still did not have that. The bathroom walls, switches and outlets were dirty and the carpet was stained. The toilet and sinks were clean. Overall, a 3/5 and on the right track but needs some work still.

This gentleman was extra rude as it pertains to service. My key had to be recalibrated each day. So my keys worked and then didn’t. It was extremely hot, and dusty, all I wanted was to go to my room. I also gave him money for Sing Sing for taking excellent care of my room, and she never received it. I will look elsewhere in the future. Lastly there is a lobby full of people and he is moving at a snails pace. The lady that is here during the week is much better
