Stayed for one night on my way north. Hilton had renovated this hotel into a great place to stop. New lobby is beautiful, rooms are modern and very nice. The Restaurant has new cooks and staff who are looking forward to providing good food. And they are installing a new indoor water park. I will stop again
This is a new hotel which is nicely decorated and very spacious. The room are great and showers good but could use a grab bar. We were treated very well by the manager and the staff. In particular the food was excellent and server Laura was super nice. The food is very reasonably priced with good portions. We highly recommend this hotel.
Don’t waste your money with this hotel. From the pictures they have done a wonderful job updating this previous Holiday Inn. However, staff and amenities are awful. Starting with check in a Saturday, you could tell that the front desk staff was overwhelmed, I was handed a piece of paper, told to come back down to get the fresh cookies, handed my room key and sent in my way. The paper is explained some hotel info including house keeping would be done every 3 days. Sunday evening coming back to our room for the first time all day, our blinds had fallen down, went downstairs to let them know, staff took note. Monday we noticed our beds were remade but no new towels, that late evening we received a call at 1:42am from the front desk asking who was staying in at room as it was marked vacant in their system. Tuesday can back in the late afternoon to room keys not working nor was the a/c. Was told our room keys were only good for 24 hours. I did ask to speak to someone and was brushed off, even left my name and number for a call at some point. Still waiting….A/C at some point began to work. Friday we noticed fresh towels in the bathroom but beds not made. We booked this hotels 8 months prior to its grand opening. We booked it for the amenities like the water park. That was not open when checking in, we had no microwave in our room, even asked for one and it was never brought in. Even asked the front desk if one was available being they sold frozen items in their hotel shop to be cooked. There are other nicer hotels in the area to stay at with way better amenities and staff. When paying $1200 for a week long stay I expected to have a at better experience.
