DoubleTree by Hilton Pittsburgh Cranberry

I stayed at this hotel for the 1st time on June 21st. Despite a large wedding, and another large group of guest, the staff was incredibly helpful, efficient and professional in dealing with my reservation and stay. The room and pool were spotless and the food I had that evening at the restaurant was excellent. A great location near stores of every kind where I did errands en route to my destination in Michigan. I will definitely stay here again.

I seen the room advertised for $88 on a 3rd party site but due to me traveling for 16 hours I didn’t get in till 1am. I should have booked ahead of time with that site. I had to make the reservations directly with the hotel and a 1 night stay came up to over $200. The front desk lady informed me that the two bottles of water in the room were complementary but breakfast wasn’t but could be added to your room rate. After being charged over $200 for a room the least they could do is provide breakfast. Hard times I guess. The room was beautiful and clean. So was the bathroom. The only thing was the sink stopper wouldn’t open unless I grabbed it and held it open for the water to drain. Other than the over priced tag it was a nice room and safe environment.
