Doubletree by Hilton Pleasant Prairie Kenosha

ALL the staff we encountered were AWESOME! Our room was clean and cooled down when we checked in. The hot tub and pool are clean. The lobby has plenty of space if you want to hang out there for a while. We ate dinner at Shelby's Campbell's restaurant that is on site and it was very good food. There is a bar area separate from the dining room area.We love staying here.

A big thank you to Tim the GM and his entire team at Doubletree for making our stay so pleasant! He was super accommodating to adjust our two reservations to joining rooms for our little escape from Chicago and its firework madness. This hotel is across from the outlet malls which was very convenient to keep my mom and aunt busy. It’s also nearby plenty of nature walks that kept my little pup very happy. We will see you again next year! Thank you again!

The assistant general manager who claimed to be the actual GM is awful! This message is in regards to one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a hotel. We checked in for just one night on Saturday due to my daughter having a soccer game in the area and apparently there was multiple hockey teams staying there that weekend who arrived the night before and I don’t know what happened the night before but we had just walked into the lobby and 5 of us sat at an open table in the lobby and no sooner did we sit down, this guy comes at us screaming and totally unhinged and said we needed to go to our rooms or we would get kicked out and that he called the cops on us! All of a sudden two cops show up and start questioning us and taking our information and we were all so caught off guard and had no clue what was happening. He claims we changed the tv station and that was what set him off… long story short, he had the wrong group of people and thought we were the same ones from the night before. After proving to him that we just entered the hotel 15 minutes ago and had no clue who any of these hockey families were, he was still a complete jerk. I had to demand an apology from him. He never admitted his wrong doing, never apologized to our group. Our kids were all crying and scared thinking we were getting arrested, it was an absolute nightmare! As a general manager, he needs to be spoken to and Hilton corporate needs to go back and look at camera footage to see what went down. It was insane!
