DoubleTree by Hilton Quebec Resort

The hotel was like a beautiful and spotless little castle, even beyond my expectations. I truly felt at home during my stay. All of the staff were kind, but I especially want to compliment the Black gentleman who manages the lobby on the first floor and the pool. He worked so hard and was incredibly kind. Please let him know how grateful I am.

The rooms are a bit snug for a family of 4 with luggage but we made it work. There was a refrigerator and coffee machine which made our stay much better. The hotel is not walkable to old town Quebec but it's only 15+min drive. It's very conveniently located to many other activities. There was no outdoor pool, however, there was a very large outdoor hot tub which was perfect after long days of walking!! The breakfast was better than most of the hotels within this same chain. We did have dinner at the restaurant one night and we really enjoyed our food.

Clean but tight, not ideal for families with dietary needs Stayed one night with my family. The room was clean but very tight. Fridge was noisy, washroom was relatively small, and only basic supplies were provided. No complimentary water! We follow a halal diet, and breakfast options were very limited (no honey, only 2 types of cheese, eggs weren’t good). Pastries and juices were nice though. Parking had many spots, but each was very narrow. Staff were kind and helpful. Location is peaceful and surrounded by trees. Overall, decent stay but not great value for the price.
