DoubleTree by Hilton Raleigh Midtown NC

This is a wonderful hotel. Front staff were extremely helpful, pleasant and friendly. There are no luggage carts available but the on-site maintenance man went to the kitchen and got a cart so we could roll our luggage up. You received a little goodie bag with a sweet snack upon check-in. The room was extremely clean with little touches like the towels folded in unique ways. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

I wanted to leave three separate reviews—one for each amazing employee—but the system wouldn’t let me, so I’m combining them here. My trip started off terribly with a rough flight and an even worse rental car experience. But when I arrived at the hotel, everything changed. Sierra at the front desk was a breath of fresh air. She greeted me with empathy, professionalism, and kindness—and even gave me a cookie. Her warm welcome truly turned my awful day into a pleasant stay. Hussein, the chef, was equally wonderful. You could tell he takes great pride in his cooking—like a proud papa showing off his craft. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, and it made my morning feel special. Abir, our waitress, was outstanding. Friendly, attentive, and efficient—she made sure everything ran smoothly and always had a smile. Whoever hired this team deserves a round of applause. These three made all the difference in my stay. Well done!

When I first arrive, I tried to give it a chance I stayed at another Doubletree about 20 minutes from this one. It’s in Cary North Carolina. I had an amazing experience so I did not think that this location would be as bad as it was. When I addressed my concerns as far as the leaking hole in the ceiling, which was leaking water and the stains all over the bedsheets as well as the bug upside down, struggling to turn over. That was a cockroach as you can see when I went downstairs to let them know the first thing that the man at the front desk told me was management may be able to give you a refund. I told him I would like to check out. He told me that he could not check me out due to the fact that it was The same day of check-in and That he would make a note of it and that management will contact me. I tried calling three or four times the day after and I still have not received a call back. I live over five hours away. All I wanted to do is get a good nights rest so I can get back on the road and go back home. I was so disgusted that I couldn’t even sleep in that hotel and I didn’t even wanna go to another hotel. I do not recommend you stay here . This was my personal experience, but I can tell you this if you want to come back home with some little friends, then go ahead and stay here. I definitely don’t Recommend going to a hotel where they just wanna move to a different room and the room was so bad. I will continue to reach out in hopes that they will give us a refund but the way the customer service is working who knows.
