DoubleTree by Hilton Roseville Minneapolis

Nice hotel overall. The rooms are clean but the mattress could be a bit better. The pool, swimming area, hot tub, and sauna are great. Nice gym. They have a great breakfast buffet. The service at the front desk could be improved. We waited for 20 minutes to get checked in even though there was only one family in line ahead of us. The family was fumbling with their phones for that entire period, maybe trying to find their reservation. The front desk person should have just had my family check-in while that other family was organizing itself. The area around the hotel is convenient with lots of shopping and restaurants but you have to drive. It's not very walkable.

We didn't have much interaction with the staff but what we did, they were very nice. The location was fine. The room was a mixed bag. It was very clean and the toiletries were well-stocked. The bed was comfortable, and it was very quiet. But aside from the shower and the tv, the room badly needs updating. It was dark and the furniture shows years of wear. The floor tiles need new grout. Overall, it has more of a Motel 6 feel than a Double Tree. I travel a lot and always stay in Hilton properties. This one just doesn't justify it's price.

The staff are really nice people. Great customer service. I was highly disappointed in my room for a king suite was not spacious. There was not any amenities in the room. The room was not clean to his best to be at Hilton‘s honor and to be a Hilton hotel, our refrigerator wasn’t even working and kept our food warm all night. I was just very disappointed in my stay for as much as I had to pay for one night for a king suite and did not get my moneys worth luxury worth or anything. I was really disappointed.
