My flight was cancelled so the airline put me here for the night. The hotel was the good part of a frustrating situation. The service was fantastic, on top of everything. The whole process was incredibly smooth which I appreciated during a frustrating situation. They literally have a warm cookie waiting for you which was nice. The hotel itself is old but very charming. Very clean and well kept. Great atmosphere in general.
Needs updated. Our room had a terrible musty smell. The outlets in the bathroom did not work. It was very noisy. The room above us had stomping or hard walking going on constantly until 2 am. The pillows are very flat. It would be nice to have a refrigerator in the room. The snack area was a nice touch but the hours were really strange. Not sure why you wouldn't stay open longer than 5 to 11 am if you are selling salads, wraps and beer. Breakfast was way too expensive. It was over 60.00 for 2 omelets, coffee, and juice. The only plus was it is close to the airport. I was asked if they could call me about my rating. I said at 8 but no one called. I guess they didn't really want to know my feedback. For the price, it should have been better.
🔴 ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE – THIS HOTEL SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN This was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve had in my life and I’m not someone who leaves bad reviews. But this place was so unacceptable, I feel a moral obligation to warn others. The entire hotel was disgustingly dirty and severely outdated. You could see visible dust and dirt in the corners and along the baseboards, the carpets were stained and smelled like mold, and the air was heavy and hard to breathe. The smell throughout the room and hallways was unbearable like nothing had been cleaned in years. Even the towels were awful they were so old, thin, and overused that they had completely lost their texture. You know that feeling when towels are no longer fluffy, just flat and worn out? That’s exactly what we found. It was clear they hadn’t been replaced in a very long time. Only one elevator was working for a hotel that hosts a large number of guests. This led to long waits and overcrowding. It’s shocking that this place operates under the Hilton name. I was staying with my husband, and he’s experiencing the exact same symptoms I am persistent cough, itchy eyes, and difficulty breathing. It’s not just discomfort it’s a real health concern. We were also traveling with another couple, and they had the exact same perception of the hotel’s condition. They were also coughing and felt uncomfortable staying there, so all four of us ended up canceling our second night and moving to another hotel nearby. When we explained why, the staff at the new hotel told us they’ve had other guests come in saying the exact same thing people leaving that hotel due to its poor and unsanitary conditions. Even the staff at this Hilton location admitted they’ve been receiving a high volume of complaints. That says it all. I’ve never in my life left a negative review, but this situation truly deserves one. This hotel is a health hazard. It should be fined, shut down, or completely renovated it is not safe for anyone to stay here. After just one night, I started experiencing persistent coughing and difficulty breathing, and I now have a doctor’s appointment because my symptoms haven’t gone away. ⚠️ DO NOT STAY HERE. For the sake of your health and well-being avoid this place at all costs.
