Doubletree By Hilton Seoul Pangyo

I love this hotel. That's all! No way to describe it. The facilities are outstanding. The room and type of pillows are extraordinary. I have attached some rules that may help incoming visitors. The swimming pools and amenities rules. The breakfast and lunch buffet was terrific. The convenience store located in the same building is also fantastic. The bakery and coffee shop on the ground floor of the building were wonderful! Make use of the shuttle service to the nearby mall. The mall was fantastic! Ohh, I love the hotel gym!!!

The location of this hotel is not ideal as it is somewhat far from major public transportation. However, the parking facility is sufficient and well built on the underground floor, and directly connected to the lobby. Since this hotel was constructed a few years ago, all facilities are convenient to use, thanks to recent technologies. The room is spacious compared to hotels in a similar rate range in Korea, and the view from the room(forest view) would be better in the warmer seasons. There are no amenities in the bathroom due to Korean government regulations-not even a comb, shower cap, and others. Nothing at all. Breakfast at Demeter and In-room dining were not particularly memorable. They especially need to pay more attention to the cleanliness of the plates in Demeter. When I picked up a plate, I found all the plates in a row were dirty with sticky food residue.

Stayed here for a week and didn’t feel like we are welcomed. The quality of staff was below average for preparing 6 rooms for our group. Should have been more carefully checked the room details as we had different check out dates and ended up swapping rooms ourselves. And the cafe at ground level... Wow!! Never smiled, very slow too serve and forced us to buy food or get out pressure!! What a feeling!! Building itself was good as it’s only 2 years old, but because of staffing matters, I wouldn’t recommend...
