We recently stayed at the DoubleTree Hotel in Sittard and had a truly wonderful experience. Due to a small miscommunication, we unfortunately missed our breakfast. However, the way the staff handled the situation truly exceeded our expectations. They immediately offered us a kind and thoughtful gesture to make up for it, without us even needing to ask twice. Every single staff member we encountered was incredibly warm, professional, and genuinely attentive. What impressed us the most was that we never had to repeat ourselves, everyone seemed to know exactly what was going on, and they followed through on every promise made. In fact, they went above and beyond what we expected. We felt truly cared for and welcomed, and that made all the difference. It’s rare to find a hotel where the team genuinely does everything they can to ensure your stay is the best it can be, but here, that’s exactly what they do! Highly recommend this hotel. Stayed here while on business travel. Highly recommend. The hotel was always clean, and staff was very attentive. The only drawback was when someone comes by to clean your room. I was in the process of getting dress. I hear a quick knock, and before I could respond, the door was opening. We are talking 1-2 seconds between knock and entry. This restaurants has multiple nice restaurants within 5 min walking distance. And its only a 7 min walk to the train station. Its reasonably priced. Will definitely stay here again.
Really enjoyed my stay at the Hilton in Sittard. The building is an old school converted to a hotel. The rooms are modern and clean, and quiet. The location is excellent, close to the train station and the market square. Service was great and friendly, and breakfast had a wide selection and was delicious. The only downside was the sink in our room had a faucet that was not screwed down at all, and the bed sank a little bit in some parts. But overall still comfortable and nice.
