Stayed at this hotel for few nights. The room was nice and clean, with a great location. I especially appreciated the bed linen - it felt really fresh and crisp. However, I was disappointed to find quite a few hairs in my towel, which took away from the overall experience. A bit more attention to detail in housekeeping would make a big difference.

Pros: Decent, clean, and spacious rooms, recently renovated. Walking distance to several dining options (news flash, you will need dining options) Easy access to the highway. Plenty of free parking. GREAT shower water pressure. If you're thin skinned I recommend not showering here. The lobby restaurant is really good for the price. They actually seem to put some effort into the menu and deliver great service. Cons: No hot tub, no sauna as advertised online. They were taken out during the renovations. Must have been a recent change, the photos online were updated during my stay to show no hot tub. Sunday night the lobby restaurant is closed, unless you want drinks only. Do they communicate this??? Nope. Can't use daily food and beverage credit on alcohol. Guess it's a "food" credit. But you can't use it for breakfast when they run out and can't use it on Sunday for dinner. The highway. It's close. And loud. It sounds like the windows in the room are open but obviously they aren't. Occupancy sensors on the thermostats. This is to ensure you have little to no climate control in your room. Breakfast food runs out early. Good thing the road noise will wake you up early. Early bird gets the worm. Oh and the legendary warm cookie at check in???? Try again they don't offer them to everyone. The worst part about this property is the housekeeping staff do not respect privacy. Absolutely does not matter if you put your "Do not disturb" sign on your door, when they want to clean, they clean. I was there for 2 weeks and on 2 instances, they barged in with the do not disturb sign up. ZERO privacy allowed. I've stayed at numerous Doubletree properties and this one widely misses the mark. Atleast the food is decent and will get better with time.

I’m extremely disappointed by my experience at this hotel. After a 7-hour drive with my 2- and 9-year-old daughters for my sister’s graduation, we arrived around 10 PM. Not long after, a man—later identified as the night manager, Jerry Bickers—knocked on our door and said, “We’re going to have problems.” He wasn’t wearing a name tag and didn’t identify himself until I pressed for it. His tone was confrontational and inappropriate, especially when I was just trying to settle in with my children. He claimed “several rooms” had complained about noise and said, “I could hear you from the elevator.” Our room is next to the elevator, so of course he could hear us—there’s clearly little to no soundproofing. I had booked a larger room but was placed in a smaller one, and when I asked to change, I was told the hotel was sold out. I understand that kids may have been a little energetic after a long car ride, but the way this situation was handled was unacceptable. To make matters worse, another guest yelled at my daughter while she was simply getting ice. I could hear guests blowing their noses through the walls—yet we were treated as a disturbance? If sound sensitivity is such an issue here, perhaps invest in better insulation. No guest should be approached with aggression, especially a mother with two young kids. This experience made me feel unwelcome and unsafe. I expected better.
