DoubleTree by Hilton St. Anne's Manor

Lovely hotel in superb grounds. Check in easy, lovely touch of hot cookies! Room OK, bed a bit small for us. Lovely toiletries. Food good, but overpriced. Cheapest wine £30+. Only 2 staff. Breakfast good quality and selection. Pleasant reception staff on leaving. Would go again, if on a deal.

Can’t rate the rooms as we came for the use of spa and treatments. The treatments were absolutely amazing, couldn’t fault them! However the robes we were given were ripped, the swimming pool was dirty, hair floating around. We were unaware that children were allowed to use the pool in the spa area, so it was far from relaxing. We were told there would be a jacuzzi, there is no jacuzzi. Our voucher included lunch, however the staff have tried to say it only includes afternoon tea. They tried to change the treatments included in the voucher and charge more and we had to argue this before even turning up. Not impressed, wouldn’t recommend.

The location is amazing! Staff were really nice and friendly. The swimming pool needs upgrading and sauna was out of order for months. The room had no air conditioning and in over 32 degrees outside we were had no sleep for 3 nights! And cost a lot of money for the stay so not sure how hotel like Hilton has no air con!
