DoubleTree by Hilton St. Louis Airport

The main reason for our 5 star review was for Clarence! He was our first impression as he picked us up from the airport and he was kind, professional and just a lovely person! He gave us great restaurant recommendations and ensured we were welcomed when we arrived at the hotel! He was on time for our departure pick up and we enjoyed chatting with him as he remembered we were visiting for our daughter’s graduation! We had a hiccup with getting in our room on time but our room was extremely clean and comfortable! Between Clarence and the housekeeping staff, those are the main reasons we would stay for again and I hope they all receive the positive recognition they deserve!

Hotel itself was fine, nothing special. The staff was extremely disorganized, giving me conflicting information about the airport shuttle, and no one seemed to care. The shuttle was very unreliable, the phone number provided for it only works 1/3 of the time - needed to call 5 times in each direction to get picked up. I was told I was on the list for a shuttle to the airpot by the front desk but when I got ahold of the driver he said no one had ever spoken to him. Misleading signage in the room led to me being charged for "complementary" water bottles. Would not stay here again. Would not recommend.

Came to stay here based on reviews and sadly a disappointment. Room not cleaned and falling apart. 1. Pillow had someone else’s hair strands which indicates pillow cases and bed sheets not changed. 2. Pink mold on shower floor 3. Shower accessibility handle collars broken 4. Someone left alcoholic beverages in the fridge. 5. Empty shampoo and conditioners 6. Ceiling chipping and rust on door way I expect better from this location.
