Where to start? The staff were more interested in telling each other about the night out at the club than checking us in. When we got to the room it was so cold you could hang meat. There was no remote for the t.v. when we turned the heater on to warm up the room it started smoking so much that it set off the smoke detector. The maintenance man brought a remote and said not to use the heater and he would look at it in the morning leaving us with no heat and a frozen room with out even a thought of giving us another room. The bathroom was not cleaned after the previous tenant, but there was clean towels. We left early the next morning and there were several people sleeping on the couches in the lobby. If this was the first Hilton we had stayed at we would never stay at another one and I can't believe Hilton would put their name on this one.
This hotel has mold all over the light fixtures and around cabinetry around the fridge. It smelled damp in all 4 rooms we booked. The breakfast was not included like all the Hampton inns are and it was the same food you get at those. They give a 15$ credit per room for breakfast but it is 20$ plus tax and tip for server each morning. Will not be staying here again. Also our air conditioner rattled loudly while it was running.
What a disappointment. When I checked in they said I wasn't part of Hilton Honors (which I am) so I had to call back and get someone to look it up again. I got to my room and there was water on the floor and at the base of the toilet and the TV didn't work. The couch was quite stained and the room felt dirty. They moved me to another room (the maintenance staff were very quick and very nice and helpful). The new room wasn't much better. Every time you flushed the toilet it made a very loud screeching squeak, which you could only stop by waiting for the toilet to fill, and then jiggling the handle. The lampshade was stained, the drapes were hanging detached from a section of the drapery rod, and a section of the drapery rod was coming detached from the ceiling. It took almost 15 minutes each morning to get hot water. I was right across from the ice machine, where there was a 1/2 circular garbage can that everyone used for their food garbage; it wasn't large enough so every night there was food garbage on top of it and on the floor and the hall would smell like trash. The staff throughout the hotel were very nice, but it obviously is not well maintained and desperately needs to be updated. Yuck.
