DoubleTree by Hilton Sterling Dulles Airport

We had our wedding welcome drinks here, our wedding block reservation here, and an after party from the wedding here. The staff was incredible. Kevin was amazing with finding ways to make everything the best it could possibly be. The sales team when setting everything up was super responsive and helpful. 10/10 experience at this hotel. Thanks Double Tree!!

Not sure how to rate this hotel. The Executive Level, floor 6, is where you find the AirChina crews; the Executive Lounge is pretty much nonexistent, in fact is what I call the AirChina crew lounge. Definitely this hotel does not really cater to promote a true Executive Level experience. The hotel needs badly needed TLC; hallways and rooms do not have a fresh look and feel, rather old and smelly. The rooms are well appointed, and bed very comfortable, but they are in badly need of a remodeling. Fixtures, as Lamps or counters, are broken/stained. The breakfast compared to other DoubleTree hotels is average, if you arrive 30 minutes before they close you will find some of the items have not been replenished. A room/hallways facelift, and concentrate on its Hilton Honors members rather than airline crews and this hotel will be a winner

As a frequent business traveler and a Diamond member this hotel fell short of all expectations. At first glance of my room thought it was clean and a comfortable setting until I went to use the bathroom and the handle on toilet was broke not allowing me to flush. Called to have it fix and they got it done. I went to the fitness center to workout but it was extremely hot back to back days with no working AC. That needs immediate attention. Stains on the carpet and chairs - so please believe the reviews as what they say is true. I will never return to this hotel as the front desk attendant was a bit rude as I asked her to print a label from the printer at her desk because the business center printer was not working . She told me this is not something that they do . I felt if the business center was working properly it would not be something I would be asking for- Totally unnecessary on her part. To top it all off as I was getting dressed 2 men entered my room and yet they apologized How in the world did they have a key to do so. At that point I felt unsafe and called the front desk and the lady said the person who came in my room had the same last name as me so she made him a key. Something totally fishy about the whole situation. Either way I got my stuff and got out never to return again. Hope in the future , they pay attention to customer service, safety and cleanliness sure to help with future guest.
