Great value hotel. Kids loved the pool and the temperature was just right. Very friendly staff throughout the hotel. Stayed in a family room. Quiet, clean, curtains darkened the room very well. Some more gluten free variety would be nice at breakfast but overall highly recommended. Good parking.

Really great stay at the DoubleTree Stoke-on-Trent. Hotel’s in a good location with free parking, and check-in was super easy. The receptionist was lovely and even gave us a celebration voucher for a drink at the bar, which was a nice touch. Room was spacious, clean, and nicely refurbished with a comfy bed. It was quiet too, even facing the road with the windows open. Only downside was the lack of a fridge, but it looked like reception could store things if needed. The gym looked decent with a few weights and not just the usual treadmill and bike. You do need to book a slot for the pool area, but thankfully the receptionist slotted us in. The pool itself was smaller than I expected, but the steam room was great. Breakfast was busy and the space felt a bit cramped for the size of the hotel, but it was well stocked and good value. The bar was really nice with reasonably priced drinks and friendly staff. Overall, the staff were brilliant - some of the friendliest I’ve come across in a hotel. Would happily stay again, especially for the value.

Great location if you're going to the water park. We stayed for a wedding happening outside Leek. It was great for that, but I wouldn't holiday here. The breakfast was chaos but the staff were lovely, I think they just needed more of them. There were lots of kids staying, so it was quite busy and loud. Parking is free to guests. For breakfast, I thoroughly appreciated the face the manager got me my own breakfast plate straight from the kitchen, to help me avoid the inevitable cross contaminated buffet breakfast - thank you so much!!
