I had an excellent stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Surabaya. From check-in to check out, everything went smoothly, and the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. Breakfast was outstanding, offering a wide variety of delicious local and international dishes. The hotel’s central location made it easy to get around the city. The staff were professional, polite, and always ready to assist. And of course, the signature welcome cookie was a delightful touch! I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to friends, family, and colleagues.

Exceptional Team Stay Experience – DoubleTree by Hilton Surabaya (4–7 May 2025) Our team recently stayed at DoubleTree by Hilton Surabaya for a company trip, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the overall experience. From the moment we arrived on May 4th until our departure on May 7th, every aspect of our stay was seamless, comfortable, and enjoyable. The service was truly outstanding. The staff were consistently warm, attentive, and accommodating—making sure all our requests were handled promptly and professionally. The signature warm cookie upon check-in was a delightful welcome touch! The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-appointed with modern amenities that ensured a restful stay for all team members. We particularly appreciated the comfortable bedding and panoramic views of the city skyline. The location of the hotel is also excellent, with easy access to local attractions, shopping and dining options (all within walking distance). Breakfast was a highlight each day, offering a generous and varied buffet spread that catered to different dietary preferences. The quality and presentation of the food exceeded our expectations with varieties of Indonesian traditional and western menu everyday. We sincerely thank the DoubleTree Surabaya team especially Ms Miranda for her hospitality and for helping make our team trip a memorable one from the beginning until checking out. We would highly recommend this hotel for both business and leisure stays in Surabaya and look forward to returning in the future.

I heard some people didn’t recommend staying at DoubleTree Surabaya, but I decided to give it a try. It turned out to be a great choice. I would gladly come back. I arrived around 11:15 AM and called the hotel at noon to ask about early check-in. Fortunately, my room was already vacated. I got the key at 1 PM. Check-in was smooth, and Fariz Kresna at the front desk was friendly, helpful, and informative. The room was comfortable and generally clean. However, there were some visible stains on the linen and duvet. The bathroom was okay but had a bit of mold near the shower and a leaking hand shower, which I did not report. A small note for future guests: the side entrance closes around 9 or 10 PM, and the lobby air conditioning is turned off around that time. It can get a bit warm if you are sitting there late at night. Overall, I enjoyed my stay. Great location and warm service. Definitely worth coming back.
