DoubleTree by Hilton Suzhou Wujiang

I loved the stay at this place. Very comfortable rooms. Some nearby eateries are also available. The river is very nearby after dinner can have a great walk.

Stayed here numerous times over a 2 year period while managing a project. Can't say enough about the staff. Always helpful and courteous and always looking for ways to improve. They got to know my routine that included a lot of odd hours due to the many time zones my project dealt with, and went out of their way to be helpful. When you are living thousands of miles from home for weeks at a time, small gestures mean a lot. They never failed to make those little extra efforts ( thanks for letting me watch the Stanley Cup playoffs and the World Series in the bar, hours before it opened). Well trained and well managed staff. That goes for everyone from the managers to the lady that cleans the leaves out of the pools and fountains. The building itself is a top notch Hilton property. A bit out of the way from city centre but the Metro station is on the property and makes up for this. Over that period it was nice to see some of the staff get promoted and advance in their careers . Lots of nice hotels in the city but none even close to this one in service and value.

Nice hotel but not very centrally located. But you have good connections with the subway. The rooms are clean and well furnished. The staff is very friendly and speaks good English. Very good breakfast with a large selection.
