DoubleTree by Hilton Toronto Airport

Ended up here, very impromptu, as things happened that required a stay here in Toronto. Front desk Supervisor Matthew was AWESOME!!! He was extremely nice and very knowledgeable on things to do and recommendations. He took really good care of us. The shift after him, not so nice… kind of prickish to be honest; but Matt was awesome. Great lobby, comfortable beds, nice rooms as well as an attached restaurant. Very nice hotel.

Front staff nice. But I booked to get a better place than my current hotel for a better night sleep and for use of a hot tub. Called in advance and hot tub was not down so I booked. Went to use after watching soccer and yes WATER DRAINED! At least they are going to refill it. Just frustrating though. I had to watch the Team Canada big soccer game in SPANISH as very limited and few sports channels here and luckily I found in at least Spanish! But see pics... lots of weird channels here and religious channels so weirdly! Barely anyone is watching these I'm sure and would have preferred Team Canada soccer in NOT SPANISH ONLY! Like me! The guide doesn't work either so you annoyingly have to go channel to channel!

from this Hilton hotel, My car Stolen from Hotel Parking – Extremely Unsafe and Unhelpful Staff. I stayed at this hotel on July 25th 2025 and had my car stolen directly from their parking lot. What followed was beyond frustrating and deeply concerning. When I reported the theft to hotel staff, they were completely unhelpful and dismissive. I asked multiple times to review security footage, only to find out their so-called "security cameras" are either non-functional or just for show—dummy cameras meant to give a false sense of safety. No real effort was made to assist me or follow up. gated parking is show its secure, but it is not Worse, the staff acted like this was no big deal, as if it was just another regular occurrence. I couldn’t shake the feeling that they either knew more than they were letting on—or were deliberately turning a blind eye. Frankly, it felt like they might even be tipping off criminals. That’s how shady and indifferent the whole experience was. This hotel is not safe. I would strongly warn anyone thinking about staying here—especially if you're parking a vehicle—to think twice. I’ve never felt more vulnerable or unsupported while traveling. Choose another hotel where guest security actually matters. I was visiting from the USA Before checking in, I asked multiple times if the parking lot was safe and secure. The staff assured me there had never been any incidents. That was a complete lie. Even worse, I later found out that car theft happens here regularly this hotel, and hotel knows it, yet they continue to lie to guests instead of doing anything to improve safety. ⚠️ This hotel is very, very dangerous to stay at and absolutely not safe—especially for visitors from the USA. If you're driving, DO NOT risk parking here. Honestly, for your safety and peace of mind, I recommend avoiding this hotel altogether
