The rooms are spacious. We had not hot water in our room so we received a free upgrade to a junior suite. The location is fabulous. We were able to walk to many places. The whole place is kept super clean and the staff can't do enough for you. Definitely recommend staying here
We just checked out this morning as a family of 4, half business trip, half family fun. This is a great location. The hotel staff is amazing. We want to give a special acknowledgement to Hope and Shiv at the front desk. They went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcomed. Room was quiet. Our only complaint (and we realize this is a personal taste) was that the mattresses were too soft for our liking.
Wonderful old building. Overnight stay only, so didn't see all facilities. Staff attentive and helpful, polite. Room while no view was well suited to 2 ladies travelling. Beds comfortable and cozy lovely Linen and pillows. Bathrobe and slippers thank you. Shower large in well appointed bathroom. Location is depending where you going in Wellington and our commitments were near Te Papa so did need a taxi to get closer but no issues and they arranged in the winter weather. Enjoyed stay.
