DoubleTree by Hilton Youngstown Downtown

Only stayed one night, but we had a lovely experience. Our two bed room was much larger than any hotel room I've stayed in, with all of the usual amenities and some unique features. Check in was simple and the staff was nice and helpful. The location is conveniently located within reach of downtown, bars, and restaurants, and even has its own restaurant on the first floor. The only downsides are that there is no breakfast included, and the check in is on the second floor. That being said, I would definitely stay here again

What a beautiful hotel with stunning views! The standout was the exceptional customer service—every staff member I interacted with was friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and quiet, and the location is perfect, with most attractions within walking distance. On the downside, the AC was a bit loud, the shower water pressure could be better, and the lack of a microwave in the room was inconvenient. Overall, I’d definitely return if I’m ever in town again!

I enjoyed my room, but I had an issue with the service. I forgot my wallet that had money in it in the room after I checked out already. I knew for a fact I left it there under the bed because my friend threw the wallet behind the bed by accident before we went to bed and nobody grabbed it. I called the hotel and asked them if they found it or if I could go look for it in the room because I knew exactly where it was. They told me that nobody found it and that I couldn’t go back into the room to search for it. So I asked them to look in the room under the bed where I had left it. They called me back and told me there was nothing in the room, I asked again if I could go into the room myself because I seen exactly where it was thrown. I was told no again. I asked her to look again because I knew it was in there. She’s called me again and said that they didn’t find anything and tore up the beds looking for it. At this point I didn’t know what to do to think I assumed someone had took the wallet. I’m a house keeper at a different location and you should be aloud to look accompanied by staff. The only thing I could do was try to book the room again so I did. I wasn’t even in the room for 1 minute and I found the wallet under the bed with the money in it. I was super confused on if they even searched the room after finding it so quick. I was upset that I had to waste my money just to get my property back and the manager didn’t seem to care.
