DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Hotel Penang

My recent stay at Hilton was nothing short of excellent. From the moment I arrived, the service was warm and professional. The check-in process was smooth, and I was greeted with genuine hospitality. The room was spacious, well-appointed, and offered great attention to detail — from the comfortable bed to the thoughtful amenities. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, with a wide range of fresh and flavorful options to suit all tastes. I also enjoyed the pool and fitness facilities, which were well-maintained and added to the overall experience. What stood out the most was the staff — attentive, friendly, and always ready to help with a smile. Hilton truly delivered a five-star experience, and I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Had a lovely stay here at the DoubleTree! Loved the staff that kept me happy during the Diamond Happy Hour! Breakfast is an amazing spread, I have no idea how the staff keep up with it as its so busy. The resort is great but lots of families so be prepared to share with big families and some crowds. There is not really anything nearby and sometimes Grab/Taxi takes forever to arrive so hopefully you're happy to just enjoy staying at the resort. Hope to be back again soon!

Excellent Stay – Will Definitely Return! We had a wonderful experience at DoubleTree Resort Penang and are already planning to come back – next time for at least a 2-night stay to fully enjoy everything the resort has to offer! Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. We were warmly welcomed with their signature chocolate chip cookies – a lovely gesture that made us feel instantly at home. The interior design of the hotel perfectly captures the relaxed, tropical resort vibe. One of the highlights was the pedestrian bridge that connects the resort to the beautiful sandy beach – accessible with your room key for added convenience and security. The staff were exceptional throughout our stay. From the Front Office to the Concierge, F&B team, and Housekeeping, every member of the team was friendly, welcoming, and always ready with a smile. Their warmth and professionalism made our stay truly memorable. Kudos to the management for such a well-run resort! The breakfast buffet was impressive, with a wide variety of delicious options to suit every taste. The service staff were attentive and ensured a pleasant dining experience. We’ll definitely be back – and next time we’re bringing our son along, as the resort offers plenty of fun activities for kids as well!
