Atmosphere was nice. Housekeeping never came to our room once, we did not have a tag to put on our door to ask for service. We asked for service once after we asked for toilet paper, got nothing. We asked for service again when we asked for towels. They bought towels into our room but didn’t take the old or empty garbage. Incredibly disappointing for the price and for being a Hilton. They do not have it together at this hotel. Stay at your own caution. I would not recommend.
I'll start with the positives: the rooms are a really nice size, especially if you are with a group of 3-4. Several of the staff members were attentive and helpful for requests. Breakfast wasn't a buffet but was made to order, and had a variety of options available. Unfortunately, the negatives outweighed the positives. When my friend checked in, he was given keys and sent to a room which still had other people in it, which seems like a huge security issue. We were immediately given a new room at least. Our room did not have AC (though we were given multiple box fans which did help along with cracking the windows). I had emailed the hotel inquiring about AC a few weeks before my stay but received no response. The last 2 days of our stay a room with AC was available, which we were moved too upon asking staff. Other amenities seemed inconsistent if anything else. Several of the floor ice machines were out of service. I'm not sure how frequently housekeeping was supposed to stop by, it would've been nice to be informed if they had a set schedule for rooms/floors so we could have known if we needed to request fresh towels/trash bins/ect. One day one of the breakfast staff wasn't there so there was just no breakfast available at all. Overall I don't think what we received was worth what we paid as friends who had stayed in nearby hotels (we were all there for a convention) had significantly better experiences for a similar/only slightly higher price point.
They knowingly Booked Rooms for Spinal Cord Injuries/illness Guest in rooms with NO A/C.* Reporting this to State Regulatory Agency & Hilton Corp Office. Like the Review b4 this -its now July 16-24 2025 - still no AC in several of the rooms/areas & we had a Non Working Shower for 1 Night & 2 days (1 shift forgot to tell the other shift about repairs). Now we have a billing issue!! Sleeping with Windows open (4in only) in Summer/Down Town, not Cool or peaceful. Ice machines are in/op except for 1 on the 6th floor. Change Machine in Laundry Room empty & Front desk is clear, They do NOT give out Change! But having 1 of 2 Employees sleeping at front desk @ 530pm, says it all. 1/2 of the employees either dont show up or dont care. Could not get our room cleaned, due possiple theft in another family members room. This is NOT a true Hilton with any true standards = Fraud. The little restaurant/staff is the only nice part of HOTEL - Top 5 worst Hotel Experience. Vaction stay = 1 star - BWK
