We had a fantastic stay! The staff at check-in were incredibly friendly, and the beds were super comfortable. The restaurant/bar was very convenient and served delicious food. Our bartender/waitress was exceptionally nice, making our experience even better. The hand shuffleboard game was a hit with both kids and adults, providing lots of fun. Although the walk from the lobby to the elevator was a bit unusual, it added character to the place. Paying for parking seemed a bit much, but the reasonable room rate made up for it. We enjoyed our stay so much that we've rebooked a room for our next early flight out of BNA.

Suite-style rooms here are excellent, well-appointed, clean and quite comfortable. Check-in and grounds less so. This Doubletree Suites is operated no differently than an older Super 8 or Days Inn with average reviews, personal opinion. Front desk operators at check-in and check-out were not welcoming or friendly. Late night check-in found a dangerously dark, unlit canopy, dismal security lighting, no one readily at front desk and a general feeling of "you're on your own, good luck." Charging airport rates for parking means your vehicle should be in a decently lit area which seems safe, not feeling like you're unsafe in a high crime zone. Once I found an attendant, check-in was fine and they quickly found a toothbrush as I had forgotten mine. I appreciated that, if not the hunt to locate staff. Attention to security lighting, care of exterior and improving front desk coverage would have made this experience flawless. Breakfast is a no-go. They're not serious about it and it's a cash grab. Because of the obvious safety, service and dining minuses, this appears to be a high-volume property in decline.

I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding a recent stay at your hotel, for which I paid $140 for a suite room. Upon arrival, we encountered several issues that significantly impacted the quality of our stay. First, the air conditioning unit would not turn off, making the room uncomfortably cold throughout the night. Additionally, the vents in the room appeared to be extremely dusty, indicating it had not been cleaned in quite some time, which raised concerns about air quality and hygiene. When I attempted to contact the front desk to report the issue, I discovered that the in-room phone was not functioning due to a disconnected or faulty wire. As a result, I had to go downstairs in person to speak with the staff. Unfortunately, they were unable to resolve the problem and informed me that there was nothing they could do. To add to the frustration, I was also charged a mandatory $18 parking fee, which was not clearly communicated during the booking process. Overall, this experience was far below the standard I expected, and I left feeling dissatisfied and disappointed. I respectfully request that you review this matter and consider an appropriate resolution, such as a partial refund or credit for a future stay
