A beautiful layout, with a spacious courtyard that contains the pool, hot tub, and the Hidden Tree bar & grill. If you're sensitive to noise, you want a room on the north side of the hotel. Breakfast was great on the scale of hotel buffets, and superbly attended to by an unfailingly polite gentleman. Eggs were real, sausage and bacon were fine. The evening bartender, Rose, is particularly awesome. Pool is s technically heated, but not enough on a couple windy, 10-degree-below-normal days in March. Housekeeping staff were a bit loud at times when vacationers might reasonably be sleeping. All considered, we would definitely stay here again, and not hesitate to recommend to friends and family.

I had to stay here in an emergency situation, but normally stay at Marriott properties. I will gladly return to Marriott after this experience. The hotel posts across platforms with photos that do not accurately represent the property. More than 70% of the pool lounge chairs are broken and torn. They are nylon and metal, not the cushion and iron models shown in any of the photos. The fake wicker lounge sofa in the jacuzzi area of the pool has a section missing and another completely smashed. Underneath it is trash left by guests for more than days. The ADA required entry to the pool was broken and out of order for the entire duration of my stay. There is no guide book in the room, but one room had a sticker for a digital guide, which advises to lock even the interior door between rooms as well as to use the safe in room. This is not possible, as one room did not have a working safe and the other did not have a functioning door lock between rooms. There are no basic amenities as photographed in the advertised photos in the bathroom area. In one room, the toiletry valet was just left empty, and the other had glass drinking glasses. The housekeeping staff seems very untrained as they leave out basic things such as towel folding, cleaning pubic hair off toilets, cleaning food from the floor in the common areas for days as well as pet waste that someone left in the INTERIOR courtyard of the property. This staff also had strange behaviors in passing such as leaving dirty dishes on a table where guests were actively sitting and eating breakfast and just walking away without answering the guest when asked why. The pool alarm went off for 15 minutes at 21:45 until a guest asked staff to please turn it off. The hotel lacks the necessary night support staff necessary for the location. Guests drink alcohol in the pool area, use the six to a room advertised guideline and smoke in common areas with one front desk clerk afraid to confront anyone. Given the location, it would benefit from a security guard. There are things missing from the room such as end tables, throw pillows, decor/ runner blanket, shower curtain liners, hand towels and soap at second sink, and plates of any kind as shown in the ad photo. The hotel is of course very basic so it comes without the following as standard practice: NO robe, NO slippers, NO shoe horn, NO pen, NO paper, NO shower cap, NO sewing kit, NO cotton swabs, NO makeup wipes, NO cotton pads, NO loofa, NO shoe shine kit or bag for service, NO beauty kit/ nail file, NO magnifying mirror in room, NO pool towels in room (and often missing at the pool area 60% of my stay). The breakfast buffet does not have any napkins (cloth or paper), but does have brown hard paper towels for guests to clean up spills. There is nothing to cut an English muffin, so all guests hand open theirs before using the communal toaster. There is not any hand sanitizer or hand wash station at the breakfast buffet itself. Guests must exit the rear door and then re enter by walking back around the building after going to the outdoor toilet, if they wish to wash their hands before touching the buffet line. The selection is minimal, and does not match the photos. I wish I had something nice to say, but this was a very strange experience. I give the location two stars because it seemed okay, but I talked to a police officer when I saw some vandalism and she told me that there is a lot of homelessness in the area. That’s when I noticed that there were unhoused people sitting under the building next door at night, making it not the safest place for every type of person to walk alone in. There are many signs about how everything in the vehicle is left at the owner’s own risk and the hotel takes no responsibility. More security would certainly help the property, if they are experiencing such theft that they must warn customers constantly to lock themselves, and belongings in and up.

We just checked out. When booking online total night fee was going to be $138, upon checking in we were told that there is a $75 incidental coverage which was not mentioned on website or while booking online. This should be disclosed. Was told we should get it back after checking out if everything was ok. Last night we arrived the A/C was not on, the room was hot. The rooms are outdated the beds seemed old to where you can hear the springs. This morning no hot water, no shampoo conditioner bottle was empty, the tub was dirty if it’s stained there are ways to get rid of it. The complimentary breakfast was cold the juices weren’t cold. Staff there was good. Checking out was bad the doors were still locked staff was not professional receptionist was talking to someone as we were there waiting, wasn’t even asked how our stay was. Basically the pictures of entrance and dining are deceiving. This was the worst stay we’ve had in many years. We chose this place due to all the so called great reviews. I never do reviews unless I have too, which is very rare. I would not recommend this place at all. We were very upset and disappointed.
