Downtown Loulé

We ended up in Loulè when traveling in Portugal and by chance came to the hotel. We got to se different rooms and made a choice for a nice room with a sunny balcony to the back. The bed was very comfortable! The bathtub in the room was a extra good experience! The kitchenette was just outside in the corridor and offered coffee and all utensils for our picnic breakfasts on the balcony. We had a good stay! Good service from staff!

Chic and elegant stay in the center of Loule. Even though the accommodation is on the 3rd level of the building don’t let this put you off. It has a private door to the entry hall. The bedroom access is directly off this main hall. There is also a little kitchenette off this hallway that has tea, coffee making facilities. If you wish to order food to the room this kitchenette has everything you need to enjoy your meal. The room is accessed via old style lock and key which you will receive upon entering. Our room was at the back of the hotel so super quiet. We had a queen size bed. Fresh crisp white bed linen with two pillows each. Claw bath at the foot of the bed with shower gel and an open style wardrobe. A small self contained room with toilet, sink and storage shelves with towels and hairdryer. Wooden shutters on the window and French door that led out to a small balcony which had a table and sweating for two. In the morning continental breakfast is delivered to your room. Checkout is by 11am. Fabulous stay, great location to explore this amazing town.

Liked - We loved the room. The Bathtub is Awesome! Big, old-style Claw Foot Tub. It has a handheld shower for rinsing off after bath or a basic shower. Bed was comfy, we did not care for the Memory Foam type pillows, but they are fine, just not what we are used to. The Staff is awesome. Very friendly. The location is Perfect. Right in the heart of the city. Everything is literally right there. Disliked · We misunderstood that breakfast was not automatic. You actually have to tell them beforehand you want breakfast. I think a basic breakfast (Pastry, coffee, juice?) should just come, perhaps placed outside door at a pre-arraigned time? She was willing to order one for us, but by that time we just went to a cafe across the street. The stairs are an issue for any not able to take them. It is on the 2nd floor. No lift. There is a handicapped chair to go up the stairs, but these are very slow and I am not even sure it works? There is a Medical Clinic on the first floor. Many people milling about wearing masks. We will stay here again, in the same room. The Bathtub alone makes us want to be here!
