Doxford Hall Hotel & Spa

We stayed in this beautiful manor for a night with a baby and toddler. The staff was very kind to provide a portable cot and an extra bed for our kid. The room was big enough and comfortable, the king size bed was ideal. The hotel has a beautiful garden. We relaxed at the pool and so did our children. The breakfast was really good, but the dinner lacked of flavor. I would definitely come back! Is a convenient place to stay if you want to visit the Bamburgh Castle and Alnwick castle

today my friend n I visited this wonderful old hall. it's a beautiful atmosphere lunch was wonderful.the staff 500% young lad served us his brother is manager., the girls were happy & so do attentive. it was a pleasure to meet everyone . definitely be back

My wife and I stayed here for one night in May 2025. We were in an outbuilding with tall ceilings and generally pretty comfy. I think I have a couple of minor criticisms of the room: the remote control for the telly was a generic one that you couldn't access the guide; the velux windows in the roof didn't totally close (I'm very light sensitive) and the shower water pressure was awful. Otherwise it was great. The hotel is in a lovely location and we enjoyed walking around the grounds. We had an evening meal, which we really enjoyed - in my case it was a French Onion Soup which was quite unusual, but I loved and a gourmet burger which was delicious. My wife also loved her meal. Service was excellent. Breakfast was also really good. Would highly recommend.
