I was here for a night cause my flight was cancelled. I had a great stay. I went to the swimming pool where i used all the facilities. The hotel is located in a quiet area 30 minutes from the airport. Rooms are big and clean and provided of everything you need to enjoy your stay. In the night you can enjoy a walk in the area. I wish I could have stayed longer.

China Southern put me up for the night as I had 8hrs before a connecting flight. Absolutely beautiful hotel. A little dusty, not many people around (July). Given a very spacious room with ensuite, writing desk, TV, double bed, closet and Wifi. In the morning hotel staff kindly gave me a phone call to wake me, and I was provided with a full cooked breakfast - authentic Beef chow fun, strawberry yogurt, boiled egg and sweet bun (take away of course!) Great service, if only I had time to explore and make use of their facilities! If I were to explore Guanzhou, I would be more than happy to stay here again!

Received free stay here courtesy of China Southern Airlines because I had an 18 hour layover in Guangzhou. There is a free shuttle between this hotel and the airport every 2 hours (except late at night). The hotel itself and the room was stunning. It's super posh and fancier than even many 5 star rooms I've stayed in before. However, not everything is perfect. The restaurant food was the worst food I've tasted in recent memory. They even managed to mess up the noodles and hashbrowns and I couldn't end up finishing my plate. Many of the hotel and restaurant staff struggle with English. Also, the European-style town looks quite accurate, but it quickly becomes creepy when you realize it's all a facade and behind the windows there's nothing. Feels like being in a deserted film set. And even many of the landmarks emphasized on the tourist map were closed.
