Dream South Beach by Hyatt

Location is everything here. I had such a lovely experience at the pool thanks to Justin Witherspoon! He was incredibly kind and attentive, bringing me towels and making sure I felt completely comfortable the whole time. His warm and thoughtful service really stood out, I truly appreciate that kind of attention. It made my time by the pool even more enjoyable.

I first visited this hotel years ago when it was among Miami Beach’s top-rated properties. Unfortunately, it now feels outdated and in need of renovation. Rooms are noisy due to thin walls and lack of triple glazing, and the pool, sun beds, and towels are worn or even dirty. Staff is friendly and accommodating, particularly Justin at the pool.

Rating this low because the room door and walls are thin. Didn’t get much sleep because you can hear everything. Housekeeping placed a 6am alarm on my clock when I didn’t request for it and they came in one of the days when I kept my “do not disturb”. Front desk service is nice and it’s right next to the beach so location was good. For the price, there’s better hotels around the area.
