Dreams Estrella del Mar Mazatlan Golf & Spa Resort All Inclusive

Loved everything about this beautiful place. Many friendly staff, delicious food, lots of variety. I went with my family and we had 4 separate rooms. We enjoyed the pools, restaurants, activities and performances. Definitely will come back. We went in early July and the resort was not very full of guest not kids, it may have been their low season, but worked very well for us. No wait on anything, restaurants, umbrellas for the pool, drinks and more. We had 2 swim ups and I was worried about it being open view facing the other pool but it turned out great, we still had privacy and the waiters would go to take us drinks and food. That was incredible and had not experienced that before. Overall, our stay was relaxing and wonderful.

We stayed here July 12-19, 2025 The resort is 10 min from the airport. It is very clean and quiet and relaxing. The staff is absolutely wonderful! It was always service with a smile and when you say thank you they say "my pleasure". I loved all the staff but would like to give a special shout out to Sandra at the omelette station, you are one special lady, it was a pleasure to meet you and thank you for taking such good care of us. You were the sunshine in my morning. I wish I could've brought you home with me! Alonso, thank you for excellent service every morning for breakfast, you're awesome! Eric, at the swim up bar, you always were willing to make something special, you're so friendly and personable! Giovanni at the poolside, you run your butt off, great service! Even those of you not mentioned by name, we noticed how hard you work, and service with a smile. You all made our vacation so special, thank you. The food in all the restaurants was very good. The lazy river was realizing. Every morning the lifeguard would ring a bell when he spotted dolphins, what a special treat that was. The resort is about 30 min from town and about a $30 taxi ride each way. Our first night into town we spent over 2 hours trying to find a taxi back. If you have Internet on your phone you can get an Uber. We didn't so that posed a problem for us but eventually made it back. Back to the resort review. The beach isn't the prettiest but they make up for it with the gorgeous resort. You have to go through 2 security gates to get inside the resort which I appreciated. We felt very safe. If you're on the fence, book it, you won't regret it. Thanks Dreams, we enjoyed our stay!

So we had a bit of mixed feelings about the hotel, but as always theres always good things to say and than there were some things that either just didnt turn out very well or managment is a little off, but first of all, beautiful resort for sure, BEWARE this is a beach you cant swim in, because its dangerous, big 🌊 so i feel like they compensate with activites in the resort, if thats your thing, slides 🛝 and cofffee shop, quite a bit different foods which is nice! Rooms were clean, we were here on a family trip! What i dont like is how loud the hallways are, if you’re in the room, you can here eveything in the hallways and the workers are so loud, no their fault but somehow the way they bring everything through the hallways, all their workload ad you can hear it all and theres a staff room at the end lf the hallway from our room, and a lot of food and cleaning andd everything goes through there and sometimes id be almost 12 in the mor ing and still be out working while we ere trying to sleep ( and we have a baby) so noises bother us cause its not fun when your baby wakes from noises outside your room, so i was not a fan of that, was good to try this hotel, Foods not bad, just very tasteless, some places felt like they might be a bit understaffed and the installations seem worn down for being a new resort!All in all, we wont be back, but we enjoyed our vacay, we love trying new stuff and we did!
