Have stayed at this hotel several times over many years. The rooms have been renovated since the last time I stayed there. The room was very good with a beautiful bathroom. One strange thing - it didn't have a telephone in the room. The decor of the room was good and the air conditioning worked fine - definitely a must for July in Munich. The reception staff were excellent and very helpful. Plenty of reasonable places to eat in the area around it. Location is good near to the main station. Excellent public transport system nearby. Noise from the nearby construction was minimal. The lower end of Schiller Strasse (not immediately in front of the hotel) tends to have an interesting mix of people around it, but I was never bothered by anyone there, day or night. The usual care taken served me well enough. The newer construction at the top end of the street took out a perfectly good sports bar, which needs replacing in my opinion and a branch of C&A.

It’s an affordable hotel right by the train station. The neighborhood seems to be primarily middle eastern and loads of middle eastern food! Lots of strip clubs. Our room was ok, but I wouldn’t call this place a 4 star as they do.

I booked this hotel for my honeymoon based off its location and how well the rooms are presented on booking.com. it was our second location to visit and I was left disheartened upon check in. We seen a mouse in the reception area which unsettled me, the lady at the desk 'upgraded' us, the room we got was dirty, basic and was nothing like this hotel advertises. I paid just shy of €600 for 4 nights to stay here and expected more considering what they advertise. Its false advertisement. The location is great if you dont mind staying on a street with people trying to sell you drugs right across the street from the hotel (this happened on our way back to the hotel after walking into Munich). We found alternative accomodation and checked out the following morning. No refund offered as I booked 'non refundable', I understood this and didnt argue but wish this hotel would update the images so this doesnt happen to someone else. Very disappointing. Not a three star hotel, avoid at all costs.
