Drovers Retreat

Seriously fabulous place to stay. The weather was silly hot whilst we stayed but the cottage stayed perfectly cool and perfect for the dogs. Absolute peacefulness, with just the sound of wildlife. Go for a walk on the many beautiful wild paths around the cottage or grab a good book, sit outside in either the back garden space amongst the foxgloves or out front beneath the trees, relax and forget about everything and reset.

What a beautiful spot to stay at. the barn conversion was an extremely comfortable place to stay at and also at night-time The Silence was literally music to my ears. coming from London this was the peace and quiet myself my partner badly needed. not even my puppy who is 7 months old did not disrupt The Silence. The property was clean and well laid out enough space for myself my partner and the dog. at some point in the future I'll definitely be booking with them directly to stay there again regardless of the weather. Also is very easy to drive to the Brecon Beacons and to Snowdonia. Great walks. Carolyn the owner made us feel so welcome and gave us clear instructions on where things were to make us stay more comfortable.

Loved this place. The converted barn had everything you needed for a self catering holiday. Located next to the Radnor forest and you have private access to the country walks with loads of free roaming sheep!
