Our stay at Du Lac et Du Parc in Riva del Garda was absolutely fantastic. The location is stunning—set right on the lake with beautifully maintained grounds that feel like a private park. It’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of Lake Garda. The service was excellent from start to finish. Every member of staff we interacted with was welcoming, professional, and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. We especially loved the breakfast—fresh, delicious, and with a wide variety of options served in a beautiful setting. It was a perfect start to each day. The kids club was a huge bonus—great activities and friendly staff, which gave us some peaceful downtime while the kids had fun. Another big plus: on-site parking is included at no extra cost, which is rare and much appreciated. Overall, an exceptional experience in every way. We’ll definitely be returning and would highly recommend Du Lac et Du Parc to anyone visiting Lake Garda
A very beautiful hotel and resort with an even better location, perfect for families. I faced an issue with my room, but the reception team assisted me—especially Luca, who was extremely professional in handling the situation. If you encounter any problem with your room, speak to Luca. I loved the breakfast, and the staff were professional and cooperative.
Tldr=Location is great, but the facilities are underwhelming. Starting with the upside: great location, sit at the side of a pool under the beautiful mountains, walk 20 meters and jump into Lago di Garda. Walk 500 meters to downtown Riva del Garda for the old town vibe. Safe resort with kids pool, may be good for large families. What I found underwhelming follows below. The website of the hotel looks great, and the ratings (both Gmaps and Booking) are above the 9/10 line, so we booked this hotel for my wife's birthday during our Italy roadtrip, with our 6 year old son. Specifically we paid 800/EUR night for their prestige suit. Although the visuals/pictures on the website are real, the overall feeling does not match the visuals. This is not a luxury hotel/resort worth 800 EUR/night, a realistic price would be about half. This is essentially a mid tier resort, with fairly simplistic facilities. The buildings are simply made, small elevators, small-ish rooms. Our room smelled a bit like dogs, probly from the previous occupant. The breakfast was on the 5th floor in an open area, without AC, it was 30+C, the most miserable eating experience in a while. The actual food was like from a british supermarket, no taste. I don't quite understand how you can screw up the breakfast experience so bad in this part of Italy.. The resort grounds are maintained, but not to a luxury standard. Cheaply made bungalows, with people's laundry are scattered all over the grounds. I'm not an expert at Lago di Garda hotels, but in general there are much nicer places in Italy at lower price points.
