Dubbo RSL Club Motel

Motel was clean and comfortable, staff were wonderful. Close proximity to all amenities. Secure parking, guest laundry, toaster and microwave were all available but in a separate room down the hall on ground floor. No bowls or cutlery etc in rooms but wasn’t an issue for us as we liked to venture out for meals.

Marion, the hotel manager is the life and soul of this place. Her personality and customer service was amazing 👏 Also all of the rooms have been recently renovated and look modern, sleek and elegant. Enjoyed my stay here and would strongly recommend it to anyone!

We had a terrible experience with this property. We booked a room through Booking.com and on arrival discovered that we had rented a house - which is not located on the motel site was in fact a stand alone house 100 metres away from the motel. On inspection, we found it to misrepresented on the booking.com app and totally unsatisfactory with no motel services. We returned to the Dubbo RSL motel who informed us that the booking was made through a third party and could not be cancelled or refunded ( we had prepaid the room cost of $395.00 at the time of booking). As the motel was fully occupied, we managed to find an alternative room for the night. We revisited the Dubbo RSL motel the next morning and was informed by the manager that a refund would not be possible. A complaint has been lodged to booking.com and the matter will be also referred to the NSW department of fair trading to seek a refund of the room accommodation.
