Duc Huy Grand Hotel & Spa

I want to begin my saying that this positive review is largely a credit to Thao with whom I had the pleasure to deal with during my recent stay. This followed a less than pleasant experience with a front of house staff member. Thanks to Thao my overall experience at the hotel was an enjoyable one. I would recommend this place to anyone that finds themselves in Lao Cai! The beds are comfortable and the bathtub was a nice addition too. Thank you again Thao for going above and beyond to not only rectify the my concerns but also provide a 5 star customer service experience. Being in the accommodation sector myself I found your dedication to the hotel’s success difficult to beat! A recommendation to make future stays more comfortable for guests would be for both a new carpets/flooring and new linen!

Great price for what you get. It's located just right out of the busy downtown area and right next door to the Duc Huy Mall. lots of available parking right in front of the hotel or in the mall parking lot. The gym is great and has lots of equipment and the breakfast has some really great options as well.

Location is a lit bit outside the downtown of Lao Cai. Breakfast less variety of selection. There are Pho, rice, congee, local potato etc Room is big and clean but old. Service is fine.
