Ducktrap Motel

We had a wonderful time here! Motels and cabins were built in the 1950s, but the owners have done an excellent job keeping them in excellent condition with modern, efficient amenities. Comfortable (and cutely-designed) rooms, clean bathrooms and linens, pet-friendly options, ample parking. Often have firepit and socialization nights for all the guests who want to hang out outside at night when the weather's good. Located in a sweet spot that's easy to access other local highlights, beautiful and well-tended grounds, sweet and friendly owners, and extraordinarily well-priced for those who are looking for a getaway! If I come back this way, I'm definitely staying here again.

My family thoroughly enjoy our stay at Ducktrap Motel. The location is perfect--not right in the middle of town but not too far either. There is a beach within walking distance. The rooms--we stayed for two nights in the two-bedroom cottage--are clean, lovely, and like other reviewers have mentioned, have one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in while on the road. The owners are friendly and super helpful. Highly recommend.

My husband and I have just returned from another relaxing stay at the Ducktrap Motel. Every time we arrive, we are impressed by the continual upgrades. This trip revealed new heating/air conditioning units which are totally quiet. But the biggest surprise was the addition of a beautiful new fire pit on the spacious front lawn. Across from the ocean and in close proximity to Camden and other larger towns, this property offers travelers a calm and beautiful location. Luxurious towels and spa quality toiletries also show that owners Reesa and Scott truly care about their guests. Can't wait to go back!
